After a survey of Apple suppliers, an analyst says that the iPhone 12 ship 6 GB of RAM, and that the production of iPhone SE 2 would begin in February.
Analyst Blayne Curtis from Barclays, recently traveled to Asia to investigate Apple’s suppliers, regarding the upcoming iPhone will unveil next year, he comes back with some information.
iPhone 12 Pro with 6GB of RAM
First, the analyst Barclays says that the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max ship 6 GB of RAM, while the current models include 4 GB of RAM. The successor of the iPhone 11 or iPhone 12 would be limited to 4 GB of RAM.
He also claims that the next models will support the 5G and will have a new 3D sensor on the back, which would be used for augmented reality.
iPhone SE 2, production starts in February
He also learned that the iPhone SE 2 is a product waiting for production, and it should start from February. An iPhone SE 2 announcement is expected at a future event in March 2020, along with the next iPad Pro.
As a reminder, this iPhone SE 2 would take the design of the iPhone 8, with a screen of 4.7 inches and a Touch ID button. It would be equipped with an A13 chip (the same as the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro) and 3GB of RAM.
It would be offered in two storage capacities 64 and 128 GB, and three colors, Silver, Gray Sidereal and Red. The price would start at 399 dollars in the United States, so we expect a price close to 480-500 euros in France.
