Apple is making a new update to its COVID-19 application available on the App Store. This version 3.0 comes almost a month after the previous notable update.
Apple reports that version 3.0 includes an update for symptoms and recommended actions to align with the latest guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which together form the main state agency United in the protection of public health. The app also includes tips for using a mask to protect yourself and others.
The latest change in the update is support for new languages, as well as bug fixes and other general improvements.
The COVID-19 application is available for free on the App Store. Apple is still reserving it for the US App Store. Still on the subject, Tim Cook announced previously on the phone call that followed Apple’s financial results that the app had been installed nearly two million times. The dedicated site (apple.com/covid19) had three million visits for its part.
