Tata Motors has recently unveiled the ICE-powered Tata Nexon facelift with a new design language. Now, the company has officially shared the first teaser of the upcoming Tata Nexon EV facelift, which is set to be unveiled in India on September 7th.
Tata Nexon EV is part of Tata’s new electric brand – Tata Nexon EV. The teaser reveals a split headlamp setup along with a wide LED DRL running across the bonnet. It indicates that Tata is planning to bring visual differentiation between the ICE and EV models.
Expectations are that the new version will come with new alloy wheels, and the teaser suggests we might see an SUV in a gray color variant. The connected tech setup suggests that the ICE Nexon’s carbon copy appears to be. This includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a new touch, and toggle-based HVAC control, two-spoke steering wheel with an embossed logo, and ventilated front seats.
It is believed that Tata Motors has renamed the Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max to Nexon EV Mid-range and Nexon EV Long-range variants. The new Nexon EV is expected to continue with 30.2kWh and 40.5kWh battery packs.
In mid-September, the pricing details of the new Nexon EV are expected to be revealed alongside the ICE Nexon.
